The Current Situation in the Export Market

The Current Situation in the Export Market

From our company’s perspective, the current situation in the export market remains challenging, yet it also presents significant opportunities for growth. Dynamic changes in the economic environment – from rising costs of raw materials and transportation to currency fluctuations and geopolitical tensions – all influence the purchasing decisions of our partners.

At the same time, we are observing increasing interest among foreign consumers in high-quality products made in accordance with European standards. This trend positions the Polish food industry – including the chocolate segment – as a reliable and competitive supplier.

The greatest challenges continue to be economic uncertainty and intense global competition, which demand flexibility and ongoing investment in innovation. Another concern is price pressure from Asian markets and the growing expectations for sustainable production, which require additional resources.

On the other hand, we see tremendous opportunities in the premiumization of the product offering – consumers are increasingly seeking unique products that emphasize quality and transparent sourcing.

For Terravita, export growth means further strengthening our presence in Europe and beyond through product innovation and consistent brand-building as a Polish chocolate manufacturer. We believe that, through a synergy of quality, flexibility, and authenticity, the Polish food industry has the potential to establish an even stronger position on the global trade map.
