DRAGÉES REYNAUD: 70 Years of Confectionery Excellence in Marseille
Since 1956, DRAGÉES REYNAUD has embodied the perfect balance between artisanal tradition and culinary innovation. Based in Marseille, the company has established itself over the decades as a key player in the world of sugared almonds and chocolate-coated confections. Still today, DRAGÉES REYNAUD remains true to its roots: a French artisanal production that honors local know-how.
A Marseille Story Since 1956
Rooted in the Phocaean city, DRAGÉES REYNAUD has grown while maintaining a deep attachment to Marseille, the historical land of the almond. In its 2,500 m² workshop, the company produces over 400 tons of sugared almonds and chocolate-coated products each year.
This expertise was recognized in 2013, when DRAGÉES REYNAUD became the first French manufacturer of sugared almonds to receive the EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant – Living Heritage Company) label.
The 100% Marseille-based production approach was further acknowledged with the “Fabriqué à Marseille” label, which rewards companies established in the city for their local roots and craftsmanship.
Our participation in the Made in France trade show is an opportunity to reaffirm that our sugared almonds and chocolate-coated treats are not only delicious, but also true ambassadors of French and Marseille’s culinary heritage.
CSR Commitment Recognized by the PME+ Label
Convinced that tomorrow’s confectionery must combine indulgence and responsibility, DRAGÉES REYNAUD implemented a comprehensive CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) strategy as early as 2017, integrating quality, environmental respect, and social engagement.
This approach is based on the careful selection of ingredients, environmental preservation, social cohesion, and strong local anchoring.
These commitments earned the company the PME+ label, which distinguishes French independent, responsible, and community-minded businesses.
Professional Trade Shows
Active in major agri-food events, DRAGÉES REYNAUD regularly meets buyers and distributors at key trade fairs such as SIAL and SIRHA.
The company also takes part in regional events such as the Foire de Marseille and the Salon du Mariage de Marseille, reaffirming its desire to represent Provençal craftsmanship. These participations strengthen DRAGÉES REYNAUD’s reputation both in France and internationally.
International Reach
Our ambition extends beyond France’s borders. Today, 13.5% of our turnover comes from exports proof of the strong appeal of “Made in France” products in foreign markets.
We have already won over discerning consumers in Saudi Arabia, Europe, and beyond, by adapting our ranges to local preferences while remaining true to our Provençal identity.
This dynamic demonstrates that “Made in France” is not only a mark of quality for French consumers but also a globally recognized symbol of excellence, contributing to France’s international reputation.
Products & Terroir
Authentic Southern Creations
Our products are built on a meticulous selection of raw materials: Provence almonds, Provence IGP honey, Aix-en-Provence AOC olive oil, and Camargue fleur de sel.
These emblematic ingredients bring authenticity and character to our confections and sugared almonds.
Olivettes de Provence: roasted almonds coated in dark and white chocolate, shaped like olives, a true tribute to the Mediterranean.
Trilogy of Almonds: three unique recipes with typically Provençal flavors, white chocolate & Provence honey IGP, white chocolate & Aix-en-Provence AOC olive oil, milk chocolate & Provence rosemary.
Creations with Camargue fleur de sel: a subtle blend of rich chocolate and the delicate minerality of this exceptional regional product.
The Art of Reinventing Tradition
While the sugared almond remains our flagship product with our Avola, classic, and chocolate-coated ranges we have also developed gourmet and innovative coated products:
hazelnuts, pistachios, nougatine, fruit pulp, coffee beans, and even gluten-free crispy cereals.
This creativity allows us to reach a younger audience and adapt our offer to emerging consumer trends.
Innovation & Customization
Beyond its own collections, DRAGÉES REYNAUD leverages its artisanal and industrial expertise through private-label production.
This service supports both emerging brands and established players by offering tailor-made recipes adapted to their needs.
One of the company’s strengths lies in its production flexibility:
unlike industrial standards that require large volumes, DRAGÉES REYNAUD can develop projects with low minimum order quantities.
This agility is ideal for:
· Testing new recipes or product ranges
· Responding to seasonal or special operations
· Creating exclusive products for retailers, gourmet shops, or confectionery brands
Furthermore, DRAGÉES REYNAUD offers a unique collaborative approach: clients may supply their own chocolate, nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, pistachios, etc.), or other ingredients to be coated.
The company then handles the transformation and coating according to their specifications — ensuring a result that perfectly aligns with each partner’s brand identity.
Thanks to this collaborative and flexible approach, DRAGÉES REYNAUD stands out as a trusted partner for anyone wishing to benefit from the excellence of French-made confectionery, while enjoying customized, adaptable, and high-quality solutions tailored to their market.
